Ok..Amy Winehouse is dead? I go away from Toulouse for ONE day and this happens, wtf?!!
RIP Amy Winehouse...no one every deserves to die after such troubles...
So....I'm sitting in my room which is completely pitch black as there is a sleeping baby in here...no idea whose baby but a baby all the same..I went to Albi today with Kerstin which was SO lovely and basically wanted to give the family some space as all their friends were coming over, I got back at 11pm and assumed they would all be in bed...however I got back and the party was still happening...therefore I went to hide in my room...which had a sleeping child in it...lol. Not that I felt like I was an intruder but I knew they didn't need me around...so I went out for the day to a historic village and I went to the Toulouse Lautrec museum! Looked at art...bought some postcards..was pretty standard.
UPDATE: the baby has been taken away as they are leaving....slightly awkward as I'm sitting on the floor in the corner on my laptop, I must look like a right psycho...anyway, the child has been taken home and I'm really hungry...this is a slight disaster, but take comfort readers in the fact that I now have a light on. So yes waiting for others to leave so I can eat...this doesn't look hopeful.
bon nuit...*stomach rumbles* (which many of you know is like every hour...but it's actually legitimately rumbling now.)

LAST FRIDAY NIGHT...not really BBsitting on a friday night...22nd July 20.42pm
SOOO the babies are in bed...therefore I'm attempting to type quietly but it's not really working!
I haven't blogged in a while (2 days=SUCH A LONG TIME) as I've haven't really been up to much/got into stupid situations...
On Tuesday I met with Juan, Julia and Alice and we had cake...you can see the photos below, it was amazing, i love the way French women just sit around drinking coffee, eating cake and bitching about everything from their husbands to the gardeners. Juan had a slight problem in the coffee shop as it was literally the gayest place on earth...there were flowered cushions for god sake. But he managed to say the F word in every sentence to assert his masculinity so lol..(bloody Americans..sorry Jess...BLOODY NEW YORKERS...even though he's actually from Ecuador...) ANYWAY...Then I babysat in the evening which was really easy as they went straight to sleep and I watched Harry Potter 3 in French (beautiful...just beautiful). Wednesday night I also babysat them and had the worst experience...Anais started to cry as Myriam shut the door and it was because she had lost her dummy...so normally you find the dummy put it in her mouth and she goes to sleep after 10 minutes of screaming (I'm the best au pair ever right?) So I went into her room and couldn't find the dummy...it was hell, I looked for 5 minutes then gave up and rung Myriam to ask where the spare dummy was...of course THERE ISN'T ONE. Myriam says that it's probably under the bed/stuck by the bed somewhere. Eventually I find it, wedged between the bed and the wall (how the hell did it get there?!!!!!!!) put it in her mouth and she went to sleep (eventually...) Then I got Adam ready for bed, which was a struggle BUT I DID NOT SHOW WEAKNESS and succeeded! He didn't get out of bed and they both slept for the whole night. Funny how I literally wanted to cry as without the dummy the night would have been hell...and you know what Anais was doing while I was weeping and looking for her dummy? Laughing and patting me on the head...she thought it was a game!!! Babies are so funny and cute...but when you're about to cry because you can't find the dummy and you see her laughing at you...you have to laugh as well (the weep in the bathroom afterwards haha)
Last night, we went for drinks as Alex and Marieta were leaving Toulouse (friends from language course), and afterwards I got the metro home then the night bus...AND GUESS WHAT? I got off at the right stop JOYYY...and yes I was stared at and followed half the way home by a drunk french boy, but hey...Toulouse tranport 3-2 Clara
I wonder if Harry Potter 4 will be on tonight...OH KNOW it's Sherlock...dubbed in French (oh Jesus).

18th July Goodbye Harry Goodbye baguettes Goodbye childhood
CIAOOOOOOOOOOOO
Today I saw Harry Potter with Alice, it was simply impecccccccccc!!! We saw it in French and because we're students it was only like 4 euros! It was slightly difficult at the beginning to get used to the French, but after a while it was fine and I really got the hang of it. Except...the names are translated into French and wand is "baguette"!!! Not even "baguette de magic"...no just "baguette"...like bread!!!
Before the film we chilled around town...she was having a slight breakdown and everything paperwork and money wise was going wrong, but all was sorted, and I did some shopping while she had her breakdown in the bank lol. Found 2 dresses for 3 euros each, a cream lace jacket for 10 euros and a new bag!
I have just cooked dinner for the family which was a success (well they ate it...) and now relaxing this evening with a cup of tea (lol).
Tomorrow, Alice and I are going to a cake shop then I'm babysitting Adam and Anais AND possibly two other kids as their parents don't have a babysitter LOLZ...now that will be a challenge and by a challenge I mean suicidal and by suicidal I mean blogging like a bitccchhhh after!

This is what death feels like...then Adam threw up..14th July HAPPY BASTILLE DAY
I am curretly sitting on a swing set chair in Myriam's fathers garden. We left the house for the other parents this morning at 11am and made it here for lunch. We had the most incredible lunch; salad then roast pheasant and then I had a nap with Anais. The journey was quite quick on an hour, in which Adam felt car sick and then he preceeding to throw up (outside though). He suddenly shouted JE VAIS VOMIR and Fabrice slammed on the breaks and I literally jumped out of the car. He made it outside and threw up the gallon of water he had drunk before we left the house, saying that he was so thirsty...that obviously bit him in the arse eventually haha. Ok so let's rewind slightly...I went out last night and didn't return back to the house until 6.30am this morning. It was painful to say the least and to this moment I've only had about 3 hours sleep.
So LAST FRIDAY NIGHT, no just kidding...Wednesday night: the langue onze people met for pizza then we went out! After eating we were going to go to a firework display, but when we got there it was a bit dodgy so we ended up giving in and going to the pub in St Pierre. I'd just like to say, it was Alice's idea to buy pitchers of margheritas, and it was a crazy idea a that! Around 11, Julia started to feel really ill so eventually Alice and Juan took her home (we never them again that night)...turns out she had a kidney infection and went to hospital!!! She was soo ill and in so much pain, so I really hope she gets better. Anyway, so I thought I was stuck, but there were some new langue onze people and we all went out together...at about 2am we left the pub and radomly found Edmund from Christophe's class, and long story short we chatted to them, and then went to a club. Some random French guy led us to one and it was hilarious. We danced for so long and I think at one point one of the girls just dropped her whole drink and it smashed everywhere, but we were too smashed to even care. Anyway, Miriam (Austrialian girl I met, from Langue Onze) and I left at 5 to get the first metro. I got to my platform and it was literally all men...which was a bit weird but it was fine, I got to Ramonville safely and went to wait for a 62bus. OH MY GOD, I was waiting for the bus and this guy comes up to me and (honest to god), asked me if I wanted to spend the night with him, wtf, wtf, wtf, i was so shocked and was just like.... ummm no merci, desole. I was genuinely scared about what he would do next, but he simply said, it's a compliment to me and that it's a shame I didn't say yes (jesus christ my life). Anyway so it's 6am and I think that i'm about to get attacked and the guy COMES BACK and apologises and says it was inappropriate. By this point i'm just like ok merci....totally no idea what to do and again he walks away. Thank fuck the bus appeared! I got on the bus and got back to the appartment and basically collapsed into bed. I woke up 2 hours later as Anais was crying and I felt like DEATH. I got up and went into the kitchen, and Fabrice says, "oh clara tu est en forme" as in: Clara, you don't look like shit! Which was hilarious, we spoke about the night then I went back to bed for an hour and felt so much better. Still hanging like a bicheee but better (better than worse). So now you can see that Adam throwing up on the way here was not beneficial to any part of my life. I nearly threw up myself when it happened!!!
Oh god, so yes, attempting to recover and stay awake/alive!
Hope you've all had more than 3 hours sleep. Safe to say, never doing an all nighter again, i'm 20 years old and it was just TOO MUCH.
peace and blessings xxx
17th July 11.16am
So yesterday, I walked up a mountain in brogues (they are a type of shoes if you have no idea what they are...if this is the case..why are we friends?) I shit you not, a mountain with a little castle on top of it...a MOUNTAIN...in BROGUES...what the hell was I thinking. However, it was actually fine walking in them! The only down point was the grip. When we were walking down the mountain (as when one goes up one must go down...like quote from La Haine: it's not the fall you should be afraid of..it's the landing...something like that) so yes, so rocks (YES ROCKS) were slippery, but I didn't die so there's the light at the end of the tunnel...not the actual light because that would have meant I had died. (what am I talking about). ANYWAY, we came back for lunch then again I spent the whole day lying by the pool attempting to be less white, and it worked. I didn't get burnt and tanned a bit more! Then in the evening Myriam's brother came round for dinner which was nice, he's really funny and we spent the whole time just laughing at their mum as all her sentences start with "well it's better in Spain/ in Spain...." (she's Spanish...otherwise that would be odd). Also, he has two little girls and they are SO cute, especially Sofia who is 17 months!
After an epic night sleep in which I dreamed about New York (weird)..I am now sitting on my bed packing my stuff. We are having lunch here with the family then driving home. Myriam and her mum are shouting at each other again, Fabrice says it's the only way they can communicate hahahahah it's comedy. Also it's pissing with rain, however (SINON< a french word i need to use more, means however) we've had 3 days of epic sunshine and burning skin weather (not mine mwahahha).
Sad to leave here but also glad to go back to Toulouse, basically to check my emails and sort out the school...SCARY...IT'S SO REAL NOW.
ALSO I NEED TO SEE HARRY POTTER!
15th July 19.27- dying from chocolate mouse overload...mousse? mouse? SARAH HELP ME
I have had the most relaxing day of my life. After a really good night sleep (not hard to do as I had 2 hours sleep the night before and by the night before I mean that morning) and then after breakfast we went swimming in the pool in the garden. It was so nice and I basically swam and sunbathed for the whole day- I'm tanned!! WAHAY! Fabrice is so hilariously burnt and there's me thinking that i'd be red as and dying. I mainly avoided the burning skin/flesh as I put on factor 30 like it was going out of style, I kid you not! We just went on a walk to feel the horses, initially I thought that they were going to be random horses, but we get to this paddock/field place and they start calling these names, and suddenly two MASSIVE horses appear. I nearly shat myself. Seeing a horses and I are not best friends, and I've never really ridden/touched them before. But these two were SO beautiful and friendly!! We fed them all the stale bread we had and they were so happy!
I am currently eating my chocolate mouse that we were given for dessert at lunch, but I was the only one who couldn't finish it, it's so sweet and chocolately that I can only take like 2 bites at a time...Fabrice/Mryriam and Adam all ate theirs in like 5 seconds WITH so much whipped cream. So yes, I'm attempting to eat more.
ALSO, I'm reading Little Women in French (Rosie, if you're reading this (which you should be) I hope you appreciate it!) I can understand it and it's a really nice read! I think next week I'm going to go into town and buy some books, I feel the needs to have French books by Hugo/Moliere etc that I can't read or understand, like any good (shit/incapable) language student.
ALSO...... I GOT MY SCHOOL FOR NEXT YEAR...but i'll wait until my next post to give you the details, and that's because there is no internet here and my mum has sent me the details in an emailed, as the French are weird and sent me the school information BY POST? The element of anticipation/excitement for my life (yeah right)...is totally pointless as you'll see all the info in the next post...as I'm posting all the blogs from this weekend at the same time...as there's not internet.
I NEED INTERNET
THIS IS GOOD FOR ME...COLD TURKEY
the one time I need internet...is the one time I don't have it. Brilliant.
Fucking French mountains...you can't be mad at it as it's so beautiful!
Peace and Blessings
